The Best Time to Listen

The sounds of The Wave Organ are highly dependent on the tides. For the most pronounced acoustic experience, we highly recommend visiting at high tide. During low tide, the pipes are largely exposed, and the organ remains quiet.

Hours & Accessibility

The installation is open to the public daily, from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free.

  • Wheelchair accessible pathway available up to the primary listening deck.
  • Uneven stone terrain in secondary listening areas (sturdy footwear recommended).
  • No onsite restrooms or facilities.

What to Bring

Coastal winds can be brisk even on sunny days. Bring layers, wind-resistant clothing, and a readiness for quiet contemplation. Please leave amplified audio devices at home to preserve the natural acoustics for all visitors.
